Mission Objectives

To provide an alternative and sustainable livelihood for sex workers and treat them as equal citizens.

Innovate Sustainable interventions that guarantee a strong commitment; support and care  for Sex Workers  towards their social, economic and cultural transformation based on the principles of respect of
human dignity, social justice and human rights.

Goals

Empower the marginalized, vulnerable women and girls through combined community based efforts and strategies within an atmosphere of love and trust.

SOWEP Strategic Objectives

  • To Introduce and develop an effective and realistic model of multifaceted prevention strategies on issues of HIV/AIDs and human trafficking based on non discriminatory policies.
  • To enhance efforts for health promotion, social and economic capacity and commitment to support the sex workers.
  • To establish strong linkages, networks and partnerships with other organizations addressing the similar issues.
  • To develop effective mechanisms for advocacy and lobbying and a larger institutional capacity for strategic planning and policy development.
  • To create a framework for programmes design and management, resource development, monitoring and evaluation and capacity building.
