Structure

SOWEP was created in order to ensure the realization of the above objectives  and create a steady and stable infrastructure for the sustainability of its programmes and operations so as to guarantee commitment of all parties and bodies to the philosophy of SOWEP. The structure also has a prime task to seek the necessary support, cooperation and contacts.   SOWEP has the following four structural components:

Governance structure: composed of  the founder members who are registered officials and policy makers of SOWEP (Board);

Management Structure: composed of hired professionals and department heads mainly to execute the mandate of  SOWEP (Management Committee);

Programme Structures: composed of programmes leaders and external technical and professional advisers of SOWEP Programmes (Programme Advisory team); and

Community Structures: composed of beneficiary community representatives with leadership roles in various thematic areas (Community Thematic groups).
